With unemployment on the rise and graduates struggling to find work after many years of study and accruing debt, young people in Leeds leaving school this summer are being encouraged to explore the benefits of apprenticeship opportunities.
Local training provider, Lifetime, is inviting people aged 16-18 to an open day on Monday, August 2, where they can find out more about careers in the leisure sector and how to enrol on a government funded apprenticeship.
