Wyndham Grand to open Blue Harbour Spa |
 |
| Wyndham Hotels and Resorts will open a new luxury spa at its Wyndham Grand hotel at Chelsea Harbour in London this September.
The Blue Harbour Spa at the Wyndham Grand will have six treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room and a 17m swimming pool, complete with swan neck waterfalls and swim jets.
Treatments will be provided by a selection of product houses including Yon Ka, Aromatherapy Associates, Monu and Mama Mio.
The spa menu has been created with eastern and western influences in mind, and will incorporate holistic therapies including reflexology and Ayurvedic massage alongside everything from volcanic stone massages to salt scrubs to seaweed wraps.
Two of the six treatment rooms at the spa are double rooms and there will be special treatments for mums-to-be and men.
Mama Mio is behind the Mama's touch treatments, which include the Yummy Tummy - a skin care treatment for the baby bump - and Mellow Mama, a full body massage which uses pre-natal techniques to target the lower back muscles.
For men, Monu's Vitru range offers treatments such as Skin Fitness, a deep cleanse and detox for the skin, and the Power Back & Neck, a deep tissue massage with hot and cold stones to target ingrained tension.
The Blue Harbour Spa will also offer a signature treatment, the Melt Massage. A massage oil candle melts into scented oil, which is dripped all over the body for a 75 minute massage.
The hotel will also offer a range of spa days for non-guests, which include a package of treatments, gentle exercise and body cleansing, as well as unlimited use of the thermal and wet spa, and a champagne lunch.
The spa will also target the corporate sector with its After Work Wind Down retreat.
The opening of the Blue Harbour Spa forms part of a hotel-wide refurbishment, which has already seen the launch of a new penthouse floor and the redesign of the interior, and a number of outdoor spaces.
Spa visitors will also be able to use the hotel's health and fitness club.
